Hi. I'm writing this topic because of an issue bothering me since last 3 weeks. Long story short- my GTX 580 started artifacting. I have a brand new build, and this card is the only used thing that I bought for my new pc and its a bit over the warranty time given. Im running a Asus M5A95 EVO R2 motherboard alongside with OCZ ModXStream 700W PSU. At first when this problem occured, it was very periodic. I wasnt facing it more than 1 time per every 2 days. But it has gone way worse. Now those pink artifacts show even on desktop ( at the beggining they only manifested themselves in 3d applications ) after like 1 minute of system launch. They also disappear after some time, both now and right when the issue first started. Basically, if I have enough patience to restart my pc ( artifacts appear, disappear, then appear again after 10 sec and freeze the whole thing ) i still get to browse the web. I have also noticed that I can make them appear for a second or two by, literally, making my desk tremble a bit, by very lightly hitting it with a palm or so. What could cause those issues? Is my vga facing its sudden death, or, some other stuff in my config messes up? Please answer quickly, thanks for all responses in advance. Hope I made the issue clear.

PS i tried switching the card to the other slot, switching the power cables, changing bios and drivers. nothing worked.
