I have this very irritating issue with my Pioneer receiver.
Whenever it plays sound on low volume the speakers randomly scratch and eventually cuts out but when I turn up the volume all the speakers play again.
Also when on low volume when the speakers cut out, when I turn off the receiver and back on again the speakers work fine for a bit but after a short while the scratching and cut outs start again.
I have opened up the receiver and can't see anything that might cause the issue. Removed all connected components (tv, blu ray, etc) and also tried one speaker at a time using different speaker cables with no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
