The title says it all...please weigh in on this feature since i'm interested in it, but have never even seen it implemented. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks..thx in advance.

If you look at 8.5 x 11, legal, or A4 documents the pivot feature is nice. I do not find it very useful for any other applications.

If all you were doing was surfing, I guess it would be OK, however if you are like me I have my browser and another application or two open. In this case I prefer landscape mode.

That's exactly what i was wondering....if the typical width of a webpage is wider then a 15inch screen when in the vertical pivot position? hmmmm

I configured a new rig for my friend and one of the components was the Samsung LCD 151B(M) monitor which came with the Pivot software.

I had never used this software before and was curious to find out how it worked. Unfortunately the drivers were buggy and the software initially performed OK but after a few shutdowns did not respond well to 90 and 270 degree angles. I uninstalled it.

My personal opinion is that the web pages are designed for horizontal viewing and everything fits well on the screen horizontally. In time to come we will know the fate of this new gimmick. However, this software is ideal for legal documents if one is into it, you have to scroll less frequently.
