i actually bought the same game thinking i could play it too
my specs intel cleron cpu 2.70ghz,1024gb of ram and 256mb video card that supports 1.1 pixel shading and i only have pci slots so guess what time to buy a new comp.
first u need to see if ur computer has pci-e slots or agp if not pci slot video card dont support 2.0 pixel shading and trust me dont think im wrong i've checked every where and talked to 3 computer techs. they just dont
second u need too upgrade ur 248mb of ram to 1024gb of ram
third u need to buy a 128mb video card that supports 2.0 pixel shading

The 9400GT & 9500GT are good through SM 4.0 ie DirectX 10.
Mixing old hardware with new becomes progressively risky as time goes on. Can't say they'd work, and I will say performance won't be good. IMO waste of money, but if somebody has $70 and just absolutely doesn't want to buy a new box...
