Hi. I got a weird problem. I recently updated windows and my video drivers. Since then everything works fine except watching DvD's on windows media player. Watching streams, internet videos, gaming all work perfectly fine. I just downloaded VLC media player and that works fine. I've tried different solutions from different threads already made, but none worked other than trying a new media player. I've tried different movies as well. So I know it's not my DvD player, not my graphics drivers or card, or the DvD's. Not sure if anyone has any ideas why Windows Media Player decided to up and quit on me all the sudden.

This is what it looks like.

I don't know what a codec pack is sorry. If you guide me I can find out for you. And the type of videos? I'm just putting in a regular dvd into my dvd tray on my pc and bringing up windows media player. i've tried letting it auto open after inserting the dvd and manually clicking on the D:) drive and playing it that way. (Not burned dvd's but regular from wal-mart type dvd's). Like I said before, (forgive my ignorance is this doesn't help), all dvd's I've tried on Media Player, play fine on VLC.

EDIT:
So I looked up how to find out which Codec's I have. Here's a list.
