Place M.2 underneath heatsink or on bottom of board? with Maximus Hero X

I was wondering if it would be better to put my 960EVO under the heatsink or at the bottom of the board...not sure which would be better

Typically at the bottom if the Motherboard supports it Because your trying to create as much space as you can from your gpu and cpu.
