Plagued with blue screens when gaming

Lately I had my pc bricked by windows 10 creators update so I had to flash a new windows ISO and welp i started using windows 10 from scratch again . So I installed some games gta v official version and it gave me bsod Whea uncontrollable error , then machine check exception . I've check the vram , registry files , hdd , updated everything including the bios and I'm just on the brink of giving up on pc gaming .
My rig :
Mobo ASUS z97 pro
Gpu zotac 980 ti amp
Ram 16 gb corsair vengeance
CPU intel i7 4790k
Not overclocked bios is set to normal as it came cuz can't even do that .

What power supply do you use? That's the most important part of a desktop computer.
