Second Circuit Decision in Amnesty International v. Clapper: Plaintiffs Have Standing to Challenge Federal Wiretapping Procedures
March 21, 2011

The ruling simply gives standing to challenge the law in court. Previously, judges would not allow any action to proceed in court.

State secrets/national security, donchaknow? It's well past time to expose the constitutional abuses of the last nine years and put a stake through the heart of retroactive immunity in warrant-less wiretapping.
