Im gonna be upgrading my FX8350 System that i've been using for the past 5 years now, Im planning on a budget upgrade since i don't live in a very wealthy country. Im looking at a Ryzen 5 2600 since the 3xxx series is out of my price range and i wanna know if i can pair it with a Gigabyte Aorus Elite B450 motherboard out of the box, since i got a good deal on that and gonna be getting a 1x 8GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance so i can pop in another 8GB in about a month or so. Im gonna be keeping my GTX970 till i get a good deal on a RTX 2070 or a 1080Ti at some point. I Just want opinions about the system and some tips. Can the 2600 keep me going for about 3 years ? Also can i do a slight OC on the Stock Cooler and this mobo? Thanks!

I would really suggest either getting 2x4gb now or springing for the 16gb right now. Single channel ram is a bad idea.

2600 should be fine for a few years from now. Its a rether powerfull cpu with a good upgrade path.

Look for a better cooler if you want to overclock.

Motherboard should be ok.

I Might just go for the 2x8GB if i can get a decent price on my current Mobo, CPU and RAM, i considered the Single Channel as a problem, but i might just not game on it until i get another stick.
