[SOLVED] Planning on buying a new battery

I'm planning on buying a new battery for my laptop. But the problem is when I just connect the charger to my laptop. The laptop turns on automatically... So will this affect the battery life of the new battery

It might indicate something wrong with your laptop. This might lead to improper charging, so proceed with caution.

Original batteries for laptops are expensive. So-called "compatible" can be everything - piece of trash, kind-of-working, or close-to-original. Make your decision wisely.

Your laptop's BIOS might have a feature that turns the laptop on automatically when it's connected. If such feature is present, you can turn it off.
