Planning on Next gen SLI/XFIRE

Just as a rough estimate, what should rating for a PSU should I be looking at?

I'll probably end up with the one down from the top card (like how a 470 was one down from a GTX 480 if you know what I mean)

Would this be appropriate?
Any opinions welcome.

Currently have a 2500k, plan on OCing, 8GB ram, gtx 470, 1xVertex3 and another normal HD+optical drive.

Let me be clear: SLI for the GTX 7XX and Radeon 7XXX of cards, for whenever they come or whatever they are called

Obviously just a rough estimate because theyre not out yet, but just based on rumours or how much the PSU requirements have gone up previously.

I do not know for it because it sounded new Radeon and Nvidia Roadmap concepts such as Comodo, LOMBOK or Radeon HD7990 for example, at some point be released, but the more distant future will be less and less watts of power for go green

As Henydiah says, a good 850 watt will most likely be fine, Im currently using that with 4 hdd's 2 dvd drives and crossfire 5850's with a q9650 and 8gb ram.

Any new cards coming along will most likely need less power to run.
