[SOLVED] Planning on upgrading my computer.

I have a
ASROCK - Z97X Killer
Intel - i5 4690k 3.50ghz
GPU - Geforce GTX 970

I am getting a Oculus Quest for christmas. I was planning to play games like skyrim and such, wanted to know how advanced of a gpu or cpu / both i'd need to play the better games at high settings. Thank you for any help you could give.

If I could upgrade the gpu / cpu i'm willing... just need to know what would work without spending 1,000 dollars. (This was edited after Zyh's post, thank you for the feedback.. Sorry I wasn't completely clear with my original post.)

your CPU is a tad slower than the 9th generation i3 9100f. (about 100 USD)
your GPU is about the same as a rx 570/ 1650s (about 150 USD)

should be still pretty good at handle most game in 1080p at medium/high settings.
