Good evening.
First off if this question has been ask before recently i apologize, i've been trying to navigate the forums and been hitting one 403 error after another.
Might be my works network since my friend has no problems what so ever.

Anyways, currently i have a 6 year old prebuild Acer Predator with a later added GTX 660TI and the thing is nothing but a nightmare, so in about 2-3 months im planning on building my first PC.
This is the only real PC i've had so i really have no idea what it will take to be able to play something on high/ultra graphics, please forgive my not knowing.

I've read through the "Best PC Builds 2017" so i've got a general idea, but it never hurts to get some more opinions/options :).
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-pc-builds,4390.html#p7

What the PC will be used for:

  • ■ Primarily Gaming, i dont necessary need the best of the best graphics (It would be nice though) but it'll be nice to be able to play new games on normal/high without everything dying on me.
Games like Mass Effect: Andromeda and the upcoming Destiny 2 hopefully on high/ultra for example?
    ■ Programming, Web Development & Design and other coding so 16BG RAM would be preferable.
    ■ Watching Movies

As the title says i've got a budget of €1500 but might be able to push it to €2000 if its a real major upgrade (Not sure on that yet though).

Looking forward to your suggestions :).

Currently have a G276HL 27.5" as a main screen and a SMS23A350H 24" as a second monitor

Still got a unused disc with W10 on it and a full set of Logitech Keyboard/Headset & Mouse

Im not against getting a new monitor but the PC comes first :D

The GTX 1070 is plenty for gaming on that main monitor and the Ryzen 1600 should help with any production work/multi tasking.

This is more towards the higher end of your budget but it's quite overkill for your uses.

I would really only recommend the 1080 ti for 1080P/144hz or 1440P/60hz or higher res/hz monitors.

Price includes the Asus VG248QE which is a 1080P/144hz monitor. I have it and it's a great monitor especially for fast action in FPS and racing games.

Building a custom PC can be a a lot of fun and in my experience DON'T settle because if your anything like me you will wish you did this, or wish you bought that and replacing items later that will have cost you more in the long run. Best way to start is to know what resolution you want to game at, 1080p is currently the cheapest and most popular resolution for that reason, while 4k is beautiful it has a high cost to run with a good frame rate. There are toms of videos out there that can help you find what resolution works for you and what to expect for each of them I personally recommend JaysTwoCents and Linus Tech Tips for this information. I cant tell you what to buy but I can tell you what I have and help you make an informed decision.
Display: Acer Predator X34 @ 100htz
GPU: Aorus GTX 1080 ti
CPU: 7700k OC to 5ghs
Ram: 8x2 Corsair Vengeance
Power supply: Corsair HX1000i (overkill but fan never turns on)
Storage: 2 M.2 500GB (boot disk and games) SSD 1tb (more games and office docs) 1tb 10k rpm HDD for music and some movies
MOBO: MSI Gaming M7
Case: Thermaltake View 31 mid-tower
Cooling: Custom open loop w/ 360 XSPC rad and Raystorm Pro CPU block Thermaltake Riing Plus 3x 120mm and 3x 140mm

My build is way over your budget but yields the results you are requesting at 3440 x 1440 but, at 1080p you could get same/similar results for a lot cheaper. I recommend not skimping out on your graphics card if you PC is for gaming then it should be the most expensive part of your build. Dont blow your budget on fancy LEDs, RGB, water cooling, over the top motherboard etc. You should prioritize in terms of spending in this order: GPU, CPU, power supply ( some will argue this but dont buy a cheap power supply), RAM, MOBO, cooling, and finally storage.
