I’m planning to drop a assload of money on a computer upgrade. But I’m getting worried, I am planning to buy a 2080 Ti 11GB but I’m hearing a lot of rumors of the cards dying within a month. I’m not sure if I should buy it now. I plan to buy the “ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 Ti AMP 11GB GDDR6 352-bit SPECTRA RGB LED Metal Backplate Graphics Card - ZT-T20810D-10P” on amazon. But the reviews are scaring me. Also checked on Newegg and it’s not different. I want to run 4K with a monster pc but I don’t want faulty hardware. Can I find any way around the faulty hardware? I know RMA is a thing. But it’s shit.

Not really sure of your question.
For what it's worth I bought an NVidia RTX 2080 Ti FE in November.
It failed on day 5.
NVidia overnighted me a new one.
It's been running fine since.
The RMA thing went better than I imagined. They overnighted me a new card. I had to send the old one back eventually....but not to get the new one.
So I guess it's up to you.
If I had to do it over again I would have done the same thing. Gaming on 4K rocks.
