No...too small.

Even though you say "bootable drive", a 120GB is too small.
You will be back here very shortly, wondering how to manage the ever decreasing free space on it.

250GB minimum, 500GB preferred.

Keep in mind that there's a "base" cost of selling a product (SSD in this case) regardless of its capacity. The BoM includes the enclosure, PCB, controller, assembly, shipping, etc on EVERY capacity tier.

For instance, the 500GB version of the CS900 is only £42..... 4x the capacity (and > performance) for 2x the cost of a 120GB.

im limited to only SATA and im gonna use this pc to play games..I already have a 2tb hdd so I was planning to use this ssd to install the OS

Not a fan of Kingstons, but a 240GB Kingston is better than a 120GB anything.

Don't think you can complain for £16. It's not going to be a premium SSD obviously but it would give an older machine on a hdd a new lease of life. I would say though 120GB is quite limiting. What's your intended usage?

It can work if added apps don't take up too much space.
You might find a regular schedule of house cleaning is needed.

Yes that would be a better option. Used both the PNY CS900 and Kingston A400 drives but in larger sizes. Never had an issue with either of them but the MX500 is the superior drive.
