I'm thinking of going wireless, but would like to know if either 11 mbit or 22 mbit connections can handle the transmission of a dvd with SMOOTH playback?

I know the computers can do it, but would the connection?

Thanks a lot.

hmm, i really dont know, i tried calculating it out and the numbers i keep getting are a little too high to believe. it should be about 33 mbytes a min. thats too high for even 100 mbits.

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!

I dont believe it would. I have wireless (11Mbit) and I was trying to push a music video(I d/l somewhere) over it and it stuttered too much. When you watch them over the net the player will cache some info. But when you watch them from a mapped drive the player doesn't and this is what I think the problem was.

Just my experience so far.

EDIT: Calculations look right... DVD wouldn't work over 100mbit (unless there is something I am missing)
