Playing games on 72% Power Limit

Hey,

As I've found out that I've bought completely shit Power Supply and if I play games like Far Cry 5 on 100% power limit it just crashes to desktop.

What I've found out is that if I turn it down, I can actually play the game. So I was wondering if I keep the settings as the picture below could it cause any damage or is it just better idea buying a new Power Supply?

Current power supply: Corsair VS Series™ VS650 - 650 Watt

It's a faulty psu, rma it. Vs is a budget psu but it should still work with a 970.

Thanks for the answer, I thought of giving a try taking everything out of the case and if nothing then create an RMA ticket.
