Howdy - this is my first post, here.
I want to say thanks, in advance, for any helpful responses. I will certainly appreciate any well reasoned input!
First of all, I don't know a whole lot about building PCs, but I perform decent research and apply it well. Please keep that in mind when responding.
On to my question--
I have two main issues I am trying to solve:
First, I want to build a new system that will be used for intensive 3D CAD/CAM, as well as photo and video editing, database management, and web design. (I own my own company and fill a multitude of roles). I also want it to fair well with games such as EVE Online, Arma 3, Diablo 3, etc. I don't need bleeding edge equipment and I would like to see this build last me 6 years (two full Autodesk upgrade cycles).
Secondly, I want to upgrade my current PC to be of use to a new employee that will be learning some of these roles I currently fill. He will need to do less (much less) intensive CAD/CAM and some data management. The system I am upgrading is a Dell T7400 with dual Xeon Quad Core E5405 @ 2 GHz, 4 GB RAM, Intel 5400 Chipset, PNY GeForce GTX 570, running XP Pro. I want to run Windows 7, 64-bit on this system, as well as the new build. Is that even possible with this mobo, etc?
Oh, and in addition to the tasks I will be performing with the new build, it will host the Autodesk Vault server controlling the data for my company. That is the reason for the plethora of HDs in the build I am posting. I envision the RevoDrive as the HD for my OS and work programs, the four Intel SSDs configured in RAID 1+0 for work files and vault data, one of the WD HDDs for backup of all work data, and the other for personal use. I will also cycle two external drives for redundant backup (keeping one off location and swapping them each evening) which I'll connect with the eSATA ports.

As you can see, the build is incomplete (no case, no PS, cooling, etc.). Please help with those items. If the system is loud, it won't be an issue-- I just want it to run optimally and reliably.
Oh, and, I would like to keep this whole project as far below $4500 as possible! If it is possible, at all!
Thanks so much for your time!
Cheers
