so i wont be doing this build for a little while, probably a month or so, but there were a couple parts i wanted to get ordered right now. So if you could double check things for me just so i know if i need any adjustments.
ill be using a couple parts from my current rig, mostly my ssd which ill use solely as a boot and programs drive, as well as my other hard drive which ill use for music and movies. i might also use my current monitor along with the one in the link just so i can do a bit more multitasking. so if you could just tweek things for my, that would be great. mostly, im not sure bout the cpu cooler and the case

also, just a side question, im having a lot of trouble with my current keyboard, it keeps skipping keystrokes or just not typing in general, this never happens when gaming, just when typing on websites, or in python (took me about 25min just to type this stuffout)

If you can, get 1TB SSD, you'll want it to last quite the time for that kind of investment, 256 wont do now, 500GB wont do anymore in an near future.

Samsung 850PRO 1TB, 10 years warranty, and 1TB should be plenty of space even for at least 5 years more, assuming that 3TB hdd is for storing your stuff.

Was going to say, go full! but that mid-tower seems to have a lot of cooling, 3x front, 1 rear + 3 possible top 120mm, any side fans? those 980's are prone to generate some warm love.

thanks for that heads up, i switched out the artic silver for the gelid

added the 850 pro 1tb and scrapped the 516gb one. ive currently got a rosewill challenger case, and with all 5 fans going, it keeps my 270 and athlon x2 below 30c at idle and they barely hit 45c under load, dont know if that case will have enough room though, and im concerned out the cpu cooler not being enough, id prefer to get a 360 mm rad with full push pull config but dont know if id have room or if it would be worth it.

You will not regret the 1TB im sure. Also, myself, I have a Corsair 780T case, and its perfect for my every needs, plus, matches my rig colors so... you might want to take a look at ait if Money is not the issue. It has plenty of space for 120/240/360 rads on top/front/ or a load of 140mm fans. and definitely enough space inside to fit whatever you want.

The monitor I suggested is 27", 1440p, 144hz, IPS, a low response time, and gsync. You will like it much more than a cheap 4k panel.

That panel is a tn panel with a 60hz refresh rate without gsync.

would the corsair 780T work with a 280mm rad? im really unsure of what closed loop cpu cooler to get

just switched out the display for the ASUS ROG swift, looks like it will make a huge difference, thanks

NO ):. The xb270hu is MUCH better because it features an ips panel instead of a tonight panel.

what would be the best closed loop then? i looked into the thermalake ultamite 3.0 but it doesnt seem to be worth it from what ive read. are there any other monitors? would prefer the 1ms response time
