Okay so I have a power color 390. And a evga gs gold. 650. And a i5 6500 so what I need to know is do I need a 750 watt psu? It says on tge gpu box I need a 750 or greater, so do i need a 750 a 850 or will the 650 work?

Sorry for any poor grammar I'm in a hurry

It'll be perfectly fine, assuming you don't have an FX 9xxx CPU with overclocked GPUs. If your CPU is anything other than an FX 9xxx CPU, you'll be fine, and would probably be fine even with an FX 9xxx chip.

Edit: Oh, I thought you had an R9 390 + a GTX 650. Makes sense now. Yeah you're fine with an R9 390, super easily it'll handle it.
I'm not sure about the quality of the GS series... I would go with a Cooler Master V750, a Corsair RM750x, or an EVGA SuperNova P2 (or T2) 750.

If it says you need a 750 watt power supply, it's best to listen to it, as drawing a high amperage on any single connector on a lower wattage power supply can damage power distribution systems over time, even if the rated amperage available to that specific connector is enough.

I personally recommend the Cooler Master V series
