I am running the same Mother Board with a PIII 800EB. I do not know about the ASUS AGP-V7100/T Video card. I am running a Creative with the NVIDA Gforce chip set. I don't understan you statement abou Ourlook Express infedted with stars. I am also running Office 2000. I just looked and I have Pstores.exe but no Pstoreslog. I don't know what that program does.

It sounds like you have a corrupted software item. These are very hard to find. One thing you can do is use "msconfig.exe" to disable everything the start slowly reinabling atarting with Win.ini, then System.ini until you find the program that is causing the problem.

Damn if this isnt a video driver problem then i dont know what is. just try different drivers untill you find ones that work. From my experience latest is not always the best as long as the system runs fine dont worry about geting new drivers you might just mess things up like you just did lol
