Is this a new install of Windows or was it carried from a previous build? Is the drive itself new?
Diagnostics can be run (https://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/) though most likely it's an OS issue.

Tried the other stuff didn’t work resetting my computer rnDoing a reset from Windows settings, choosing the option to delete all files effectively does the same as re-installing from the install disk. However the other link is worth a try first
