Please help Asus SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0

Hi guys i want to update new BIOS on my new ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0....but i scarry ,becaus i can kill bios...i updated on my ASUS M2N68 PLUS and ASUS M5A97 R2.0....But can you say me how safe to update on this SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0?Or don't update?

Um It's pretty easy. With my M5A990FX R2.0. All I did was go to the Asus Motherboard site and download the BIOS file. No problems executing it. Make sure you don't already have the latest Version.

Do not update the BIOS unless the update fixes a problem you are experiencing or it adds a new feature that you need.

If your existing BIOS version is working okay and supports all the features you need, leave it alone (same applies to device drivers).

Remember, updating BIOS or driver just because an update is available is not a good reason to do it.

That's why I had to update. CPU Support. Philip has a point though. If you don't need to update it then don't bother.

Don't update the BIOS if your not having issues of some sort.

I own 2 Sabertooth boards and never updated the BIOS , just drivers.
