Hello-
So, I am building my own computer. Here are the parts I have: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KnRxCJ
Anyway, when I plug in the 24 pin power connector from the PSU to the Motherboard, the PSU fan, Case fan, and CPU fan all come on for about 5 seconds, then cut off, then come on for 5 seconds, then cut off. It stays on this cycle. So, I though this was a problem with either the CPU or the Motherboard, so I got them replaced because they were under warranty. I still have the same problem! So, I thought it could be a problem with the PSU, so I connected Motherboard to an extra PSU I have, and I got the same problem.... I also tried different ram configuration, and tried different ram sticks, but still the same problem.. Help!

Im sorry, btu I dont see this. Are you sure it is on my PSU?

It may not be your power supply. Here is something to try:

1) find the cable that connects your case power button to the motherboard.

2) power on the computer, and disconnect the power button connector from the motherboard.

If the pc boots properly then you know it is a problem with the case power switch

Just tried. I had the 24 pin cable from the PSU to the motherboard plugged in, and that plugged in. When I tried it, it just kept doing the same thing..

you pulled the 2 pin connector from the power button correct?

Thanks for the help Donny. I actually figured out a had my CPU power cable in incorrectly. Now it works fine, and I am actually writing this comment from it right now. Thanks!
