PLEASE HELP !Computer Low on Memory

So I have this problem for 3 days now and it kinda worries me. Every time I play a game it automaticaly closes and i got e error mesage saying that my computer is low on memory , but I have 8 gbs of RAM and the game I play only requires 4GB , could someone help me ?

Can you open your task manager and see how much RAM is in usage before you play your game and during?

Lets get the noob/basic question out the way.. you say you have 8Gb mem... what OS are you using? a 64 bit OS?

Have you trying re-installing your game? It's possible that some files are corrupted and could be causing the crashing. Another thing to try is a memtest to see if you RAM isn't defective.
