Hey, was wondering if you could help me out with installing my new PSU.

This is the PSU I ordered;

Mt GPU is a 2070super FE and has one 8 pin connection and one 6 pin connection.
The PSU I ordered comes with a one PCIe 8 pin (6+2) cable and one PCIe cable that splits into two (6+2) 8 pin connections.

Do I need to use two different cables for the two different connections on my GPU, or will the one that splits into two 6+2 connection be fine?

Also as my GPU has a 8 pin and 6 pin connection, I will have to leave a 2 pin connection hanging next to the 6 pin. Is this safe to power the 2 pin connection that I'm not using whilst it's not plugged into anything?

It's better to use two separate cables.

There is zero issue leaving the 2 pin connector hanging. If it was an issue do you think they would be doing this?
