my computer was working fine and i was looking around in the F8 screen when i misclicked enable low resolution video 640x480. after that, my screen went black but not my keyboard so i knew my computer was still on. i waited for a few minutes for my monitor to respond/turn back on and then i shut down my computer trying to see if resetting it would work, but the problem is that my computer wont turn back on. im not sure what to do so I appreciate any answers.

try clearing CMOS. See if it helps you out.

open your cabinet side panel and on motherboard locate battery.

Unplug your power supply cable from your psu or socket. Take out this battery and wait for 10 mins. After that insert battery and plug in power cable and turn on your pc.

what laptop are you using? Is it under warranty?
