PLEASE HELP ... DEATH MASK PROBLEM

I need help ... For some reason I put the wrong mask on #2 ... now when I
put #3 on the right one ... I can't get the zombie to come out so I can
continue the game. The mask won't come off and let me replace it ... I've
saved past the placement of the mask #2 ... any help???

Obviously your talking about REmake so let me think. I can't really
understand because if you've put the wrong mask on the wrong face, the
game won't let you, if the game has enabled you to put the mask on the
face it must mean you have them rightfully placed. Have you obtained and
placed all 4 masks on the faces? You do know you need all 4 masks for the
zombie to come out of the coffin right????

Isn't there a mask which is in two parts or am I thinking of the
original?

RE for the PSX doesn't have a mask AFAIK..
Any masks have got to be the newer ones as I don't remember any, and
haven't played the newer ones.

Oh I havent played the original, I'm obviously talking about the GameCube
version, if its the PS1 version your talking about Trojan I do apologize.

I could be thinking of RE: Director's Cut. It's been a while since I
played it but I'm sure one of the crests used to get out into the
Guardhouse is in two pieces.

Possibly.. Maybe in the original the crest was in 2 too.
I always thought there were 4 crests - but I haven't played it in such a
long time.

2...what im really confused about is whether trojan is talking about
gamecube resident evil or the playstation version??

One of teh crest in the original was split in 2, now the remake has the 4
deathmasks, you need to place all 4, and you can only place them in teh
right holes.

I've played the remake many times, and I've never been able to put a
mask in the wrong hole. Maybe there's a flawed version out there?

Yeh well thats what i thought too, remake wont allow you to put the masks
on unless it's the right face.
