Please help. I Oc now my display wont show and my keyboard gets no power.

I used some settings on a YouTube video in the msi bios 4 and it failed and gave me a option to reset or change.i clicked change and went back into the bios. i clicked the oc genie button, then exit and save and my display just shut off and everytime i turn my computer on, the display doesnt show.

i tried resetting the cmos twice and still nothing.. please help.. ill never try to overclock again..

Remove the battery on your motherboard. It's usually somewhere near the first PCIe x16 slot. Remove the battery with the computer shut off. Leave the battery out for a few minutes. Then put it back it and try starting up your computer. Hit DELETE key while starting up, this will take you into the bios. Then restore default settings within the bios, save settings, and exit bios.

Take the CMOS battery out for awhile after unplugging the PSU. Also press the power button for your PC to discharge the capacitors while waiting. Put battery back in after 10 minutes or so. Should be able to boot after that.

Glad to hear it. It looks like the OC settings just were incorrect for your PC. Just pushed a little to far somewhere causing you to not POST.
