Hiii omega21xx, :bounce:

Ibought x43sj...looked pretty to me than x53ta and x43ta wasnt available in the shops to have alook at it.

tried farcry demo and full game, both but seems to have some issues with win 7 64 bit.
I am getting corrupted graphics, though gt 520m handled Deus Ex The Human Revolution_missing link quite well.

I wonder why can't i play farcry, i mean why the textures arent visible althought it runs smooth... :pfff:

It's one of two things. 1. Optimus is enabled in NVIDIA control panel and needs to be disabled or you need to set it to use the 520 in games instead of the integrated graphics. Or 2. You got a bad laptop.

Nvidia Optimus: no sign of it.

firstly, the laptop came with free dos pre-installed. installed win 7 64bit after partitioning the hard drive.

2ndly, In Nvidia control panel I unable to search for Nvidia Optimus, moreover I can choose graphic settings for farcry as well as several other apps installed on the laptop as anyone can in a system with a graphics card.

3rdly, FarCry is Susceptible to graphic glitches under win 7 64 bit. A patch was released, 1.4, for this so that 32 bit version of farcry can be patched to 64bit. Till now i have been unable to do so. Will try again this weekend.

4th n last point: I installed deus ex: human revolution and dx:hr_missing link, both look great and run fine for me in 1024x768. but in there options dx11 is available, for farcry dx11 isnot and wont be available. :pfff:

You aren't missing anything by not having dx11. It's not a huge improvement over dx10
