Ok so here is the deal: I had my mind set on the GTX 560 (Non ti) as it was in my budget (well barely) but since the new kepler is out, these cards will be phased out in a couple of months (Correct me if I am wrong).
So before asking let me tell you my system specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 Ghz
Intel DG41RQ Mobo
Nvidia 8400 GS (4 year old entry level card, had horrible experience gaming)
350 W PSU (Will be getting a new one with a new GPU)
My screen resolution is 1366 x 768. Now please consider while suggesting that I do not intend to upgrade my resolution any time soon. I am happy with 720p and need a good card to power it up well.
Now while I completely realize my CPU will bottleneck a GTX 560, it would still be huge upgrade from my current setup right? And anyway I would be getting a new processor soon enough (Maximum a YEAR but could be shorter)
Just cannot afford a complete upgrade now! And moreover this processor is really GOOD! (Hope you guys agree)
I just wish to play most of the games maxed out at the resolution I mentioned earlier. Also it would great if I could get something future proof.
Budget would be around 10 - 12k (Indian rupees) that is roughly around 200 - 240 $ (but suggest me something till 180$ because here in India price tends be more by 50- 100$)
So the GTX 560 (Non Ti) is available here for 240$
Now I am open for both Nvidia and AMD and I am sort off attracted to the HD 7770 mainly because of its power efficiency, 28nm building process and OFFCOURSE the reasonable price!
Also I feel the GTX 560 would be an overkill for my resolution. It would take me atleast 2 months to make the purchase so I hope the GTX 560 remains in stock.
What would you suggest so that I would be able to max out and near max out BF 3, be a little future proof and not have my bank A/C raided?
Should I wait for GTX 650 Ti (or maybe its called GTX 660 non ti)?
Should I get HD 7770? And if so would it be enough for 1366x768 resolution?
I am techie and if possible some technical explanation to your choice would be highly appreciated.
I am sorry for the extremely long write and I am thank full for any response given by you people.
