Please help locked away my files using folder protect

I am running win 8.1 on my pc and I locked some files away using the folder protect V2.5 by tweak and trick. Now when I updated some of my drivers the graphic driver wasnt working (black screen) so I reset my pc and it said it would do so without me losing any files but when the reset was complete my all the installed apps games and other data just went into a folder in c drive named windows.old and created a new windows new program files . now i was able to install all files such as utorrent vlc and Folder Protect but when i accessed folder protect all my files were gone. Now these files are nowhere to be found but i know they are there as they are occupying some space (150 GB) because there is not much change in space remaining after i reset my pc but cant find them

Read through that link it tells you where the files are, or were before you re-installed Windows. They are probably still sitting in your old user directory, when you re-installed Windows it creates a new user account and should have saved a backup of your old one.

Thanks but i tried that already and it didnt help I tried to find the folder/file at the location mentioned for hours but i wasnt able to find it

Open Command prompt, and go to your old user folder
cd C:\windows.old\
From there, execute "tree >dirtree.txt" command, and post contents of dirtree.txt on e.g. pastebin, so we can see what folders do you have there

Tree wont show hidden system folders as far as I recall and I don't believe there's an option to enable that either.

Use explorer and in 'tools>folder options' enable 'View Hidden and System Folders'. click ok.
You should then see the users/username/appdata/microsoft folder structure within and then the "control panel.{...}" folder you are looking for in their.

Open Command Prompt, "cd c:\windows.old\users\Siddhand\AppData", then "dir /s /a >filelist.txt". Search filelist.txt for these ControlPanel files (if this is what you're looking for)
