hey please help me build my PC, its been a long time coming. I could not buy or update from my current one for long time due cost constraints. i am not looking to overclock or need of any RGB.

  1. Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk or MSI Pro B650-P ? which one is having Supports for AMD EXPO memory? as on Tomahawk i could not find same on MD computers ? I need more than 4 SATA ports thats why was thinking MSI, otherwise Gigabyte seemed like a better option to me as boot time and VRM temps look much better with their boards. Gen 5 i am not really interested to spend that extra until and unless deal is really good on x670 boards.
  2. Ram: Gskill Z5? what latency and mhz ?
  3. Cooler: Was thinking Arctic liquid freezer 2, 360 non rgb but i dont know if i can get it here in Delhi? India
  4. Boot drive: Samsung nvme 990 pro?
  5. PSU: Corsair RM850x Shift series ? its ok ? again dont know if available here?
  6. Might get better GPU if needed like Nvidia 40XX maybe or when prices come down more hopefully for them. ( Currently only gonna be using my current 1650 super which costed a bomb to buy just before Covid time)
  7. Case 5000D is good or there are better options?
  8. I wanting to build a really silent system, budget is not to spend if not required and get the best. .
Thanks :)

X670 motherboard are pretty unnecessary for the majority of users. The MSI MAG Tomahawk B650 is an excellent value for the money and provides lots of features.

For memory go with this kit of G.SKill Trident Z5 Neo. It's got very low latency to maximize the performance of your Ryzen CPU, fast speeds, and is AMD Expo certified for best compatibility.

If you can find the Arctic Freezer where you live, then go for it. Otherwise, go with a Corsair or Cooler Master unit that fits your budget. Both bands make excellent AIO's.

Samsung's 990 Pro is a fine choice. If your budget is tight, you would not lose any real world performance by saving some money and going with the 980 Pro instead.

The Corsiar RM850X is good, but I would go with the RM850e instead. It supports Intel's ATX 3.0 specification, which will increase the longevity of your PSU.

Case is completely subjective, and the Corsair 5000D Airflow is a great choice. Stick with it. Hope this helped, take care.

Ive got with the rog crosshair x670e gene ( expensive ) but i plan to use in till AM6 that said a decent B650 with pcie 5.0 x16 ( be care full some dont do the gen 5 ) will be great and future proof for next gen and so on GPU's

cl30 6000 is the sweet spot for Zen 4 i use the Gskil z5 argb
arctic freezer ii is a great option just rebuilt my pc using a arctic freezer ii 360 keeps my 7800x3d cool

I use fire cuda 530s , samsung 980 pros and a WD SN 850x unless your going to use GEN 5 ssd which will require a x670 board and some cooling the gains over the 990 and the 980 are small and hardly noticeable ..
( within a few seconds of load time in real world scenario's )

WD sn850 x in a 2tb or 4tb can be had cheap and are really good

PSU wise as you have not told us what GPU you will be using that will play heavy on recommendations !!

What country are you located, what is your budget, what will be the primary uses of your PC and if it includes gaming what is your resolution?

i am not hardcore gamer, but will be using for gaming for sure :). i am currently having 1650 super bought during covd time, when graphic card were really expensive. Budget is preferred under $2k ( not including graphic card). Might get better GPU if needed like Nvidia 40XX maybe or when prices come down more hopefully for them.
Monitor i have LG is 4k, 24 inches. Its pretty good. Country location: India

With your resolution I would look at a Ryzen 7700 cpu, less expensive case such as the Fractal Design Focus 2, the MSI PRO B650-S WIFI and put the savings towards your graphics card.

@turtletarget111 , @ilukey77, @Why_Me guys ty for quick responses, with MSI boards i am hearing lot of issues regarding boot times being too high, maybe its still there even with current BIOS, i don't know, so what do u guys suggest?
so MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk or MSI Pro B650-P between this 2 will any make difference to boot time or can get any better board which has no issues.

i do need more than 4 sata ports on the board i am having multiple Sata SSDs.

@Why_Me
ok checked that article it doesn't say anything about MSI boards having boot issue time lag or if problem solved on them ?
MSI boards are good boards imo.

SATA Ports.

@Lucky_SLS hey are u having MSI Or Gigabyte board model number please? and if MSI what settings have u altered in it ? is Expo profile, Memory Context enabled ? , any alteration PBO settings?

personally im not a fan of gigabyte boards as ive owed 2 and neither have served me well z590 vision D love the board not a fan of the 10th gen not being able to use the front m.2 unless its 11th gen ..
and my b550 board the wifi adapter kept playing up ..
other wise no other issues..
my MSI mag x570 tomahawk wifi has been a champion board and still works flawlessly and my current Rog board is good to with no issues ..

there was issues with Asus with cooking zen 4 at release but that issue has all been solved now through Bios updates !!

hi
1. so it seems corsair is not having their RMX shift series in India only Corsair RM1000E is available and for similar price also getting MSI MPG A1000G i am thinkin of going with MSI MPG A1000G ?

2. Also doesn't look Arctic freezer AIO is in stock so thinking of going AK 620 now will get any coil wine with it ? as i spoke with one user he said that if its running at full then fans can make sound? also few reviews pointed to it?
do i have any better option ? i am looking to build a silent system as it can be, its really close to my bed the system.

The only problem I see is that you need low profile rams like the g skill flare x5 or Corsair Vengeance. The Trident z neo won't fit in the a2 slot with ak620.

This was why I suggested the ak500 instead. Ram availability in India is horrendous.

1.i got this DEEPCOOL AIO LS 520 offline i tried to get the normal air cooler it was not available offline at the time so went with that i do not know if connection is proper.

2.please help pump is making this awaful sound and both fans should be pointed downwards i think only one is pointed downwards here?

3.In bios pump is not showing any RPM?

4.One cable is connected to CPU fan and other cable I don't know where is connected it's not connected to pump socket on mobo.

While you are at it, i would also advice you to swap the AIO so that the hose faces the front of the case. Or at least cable tie it to the side so that it has no chance to contact the fan blades on the rear exhaust.

Exaust fan is quite far away but I will do that too. The thing is I took help for this build someone my uncle but I think he sub let it to someone else.

Now this insane pump sound that is coming, we are wondering AIO unit broken or why is this coming ? I connected 3 pin small wire coming from pump AIO to AIO pump connector to see if it helps but it did not. In BIOS pump is set to DC.

Now this entire radiator be removed and connect fans correctly and will this solve problem of this insane sound coming from this pump if they connect it properly ?

Without the proper pwm control, the pump might be running at max speed. Having the radiator above the pump level will mean it has that much water head load to pump. And Maybe some air bubbles in it?

If you can, keep the rad below the pump level and try to run it for an hour and see if it changes anything.

After you set it up with the connections and bios settings, if it still continues to make that noise at lower speeds, I would advice you to rma the unit.
