Hi guys,

almost 1 year ago i bought a gaming rig and today im already regret my choice that i went for such bad mobo-cpu-combo. Here is the detail list:

140x140x25mm be quiet! Silent Wings 2 1000 U/min 15.8 dB(A)
630 Watt Thermaltake Berlin Non-Modular 80+ Bronze
ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 AMD 970 So.AM3+ Dual Channel DDR3 ATX Retail
AMD FX Series FX-8320 8x 3.50GHz So.AM3+ BOX
Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev.A (BW) Tower
8GB (2x 4096MB) Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600 DIMM CL9-9-9-24 Dual Kit
500GB Seagate Desktop HDD ST500DM002 7.200U/min 16MB 3.5" (8.9cm) SATA 6Gb/s
120GB Samsung 840 Evo Series 2.5" (6.4cm) SATA 6Gb/s TLC Toggle (MZ-7TE120BW)
4096MB KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 EX OC Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x16 2xDVI/1xHDMI/1xDisplayPort (Retail)

i was thinking about going for i5-4690k and Asus Z97-A.

But when i asked the technicians where i bought my pc, they recommended me to buy

Xeon e3 1231v3 and MSI z97 SLI krait Edition. What i didnt understand why they told me to buy a OC-able mobo for a non-OC cpu.

Please help me find out what is best for my gaming Rig, even another Combo should be very nice too.

I do online gaming like TERA, Dota 2 and some offline game like GTA and The Witcher.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR HELPING.

As the other man said it's best to wait for Skylake to comes out.

However if you need the current best combo:
i5 4690K
Asrock Z97 Pro4 = Mild Overclocking
MSI Z97 Gaming 5 = High Overclocking & SLI
