I've read that in terms of clock speed/latency ratio, 3200Mhz CL14 or 3600MHz CL16 is a 'sweet spot'. I want to go higher if possible, but what would be the maximum when the difference is not noticeable at all?
For me, the 3200 setup would be better, but it would depend on price and whether the other components will run at faster speeds.
I was actually planning to go 3600 CL15, but they're all out of stock here (South Korea).
The only available ones are:
4600MHz CL18
4400MHz CL18
3200MHz CL14
3rd (3200) seems to be the most reasonable, but I just somehow feel that I want more whether the difference is there or not..
But then I also heard that rams that are 4000Mhz+ will max at let's say, 4133 or 4266 for whatever reasons I don't know.
I'm just worried that with XMP on, the memory will be topping at 4133~4266 and latency remains as 18, which would then be almost the same as 3200 CL14.
