So I got my 10400f and B560m-k (because of mAtx case) and I have noticed that cpu-z and task manager only shows 2 cores and 4 threads. I went deep diving in the bios, nothing. Tried the msconfig -> boot -> advanced thing but no luck there either

run msconfig.
select the boot tab.
select advanced options.
The block with number of processors should be unchecked to get the max available threads for your processor. (12)
You will need to reboot for this to take effect.

I fixed it, i just had to untick a box in msconfig and it worked but I really was considering a fresh install
If you upgraded components you should do a clean install with the installed components. You are likely going to see a bevy of strange issues, possible performance problems and such if you don't. It is always good practice to do so when changing CPU/mobo.
