Hello guys, This is my first post. :)

I really need to Upgrade Graphics Card to a new one, I ran a test on GPU Z and found out that I have a PCI - Express x16 v1.1 Bus Interface.

What I need to know is, I was searching for Graphics Cards and all of them supports PCIE v.20. So what if I buy one, will it work at its best?

Here's are some cards that I like, please choose one card that will work at its best.

Radeon HD 6790 1GB DDR5

MSI R6670-MD1GD5 Radeon HD 6670

Radeon HD 6850

NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450

Nvidia Geforce GTX 460

or something else better than these cards for 140USD?

My Rig:

Core 2 Duo 2.8Ghz
3GB DDR2 Ram
9500GT 512MB VGA
500GB HDD
450watt PSU

I use it for gaming and I'm kinda fed up of playing at Low settings in every game.

my budget for a card is $140.

Thank you guys! :)

PCI-Express is backwards compatiable with 1.0. So your good. as for which one to get your best bet is to get a GTX 560 or a 6870. But your PSU would be cutting it close IMO. sounds like its time for a full upgrade. Core 2 Duo is quite old. I have a laptop running that chip. She's still a kicking since 5 years ago from purchase date
