Question PLEASE HELP no display.

Hello guys i recently just built a new pc. The pc powers on and fans spin and leds are on but no display on the monitor cant egen access bios. These are the specs: am ryzen1200, corsair vengeance 4gb ddr4 ram and a 300w psu. The reason i got no graphics card is because this pc is not for very demanding titles.

Well, there's your issue. The AMD Ryzen 3 1200 requires a GPU since it has no integrated graphics. What motherboard do you have? You could buy the Ryzen 3 2200g which has integrated vega graphics, but it requires a bios update for 300 series chipsets.

I jist realised thank you so much im incredibly stupid. Im using a gigabyte a320 s2h motherboard. Amazon is allowing me toreturn the cpu but theres thermal paste on the top will they still take the return?

Clean the thermal paste off with a paper towel. if its new paste, it should come off easily. Your motherboard may need a firmware update before using a 2200g, which you may not be able to do without a compatable cpu and gpu.

Yh i just ordered the ryzen 2200g with vega graphics. My motherboard is a gigabyte a320-s2h would i need a bios update?

Well, it's hard to tell. If you bought the board recently you likely will work with the 2200g, but it may be old stock with an older bios revision. I would try to use the 2200g and if it doesn't post, you may need to get an older processor with built-in graphics to update the bios so the 2200g will work.
