I built a PC about 2-3 weeks ago and it has been running fine. However, I have noticed a few problems I am concerned about. Here they are:
1. My screen flickers on and off once in a while, I have had it flicker every 10 minutes once. After it flickered, Windows Aero Theme (Glass windows and colored theme) gets disabled. This concerns me because it is unpredictable when it's going to happen. Also, I used a Microsoft troubleshooting program and it detected that my Video Card did not support Aero effects (See below for screenshot). This may be a problem with my graphics card.
2. When I am idle, windows "sleeps" my monitor (Not system sleep) which is normal. From time to time, when I try to move my mouse or hit a button to wake it back up, my mouse and keyboard's lights turn off, and my monitor either does not get input from my computer, or the monitor shows a frozen desktop image. I fix this by hitting the reset button on my case.
The problems addressed can be fixed with a reboot or system restart. However, I am concerned for my components and my system. The only changes I can recall is changing fan speeds on SpeedFan and ASRock eXtreme Tuner. The temperatures as shown on Speecy did not have a huge difference compared to the temps before the modifications.

Any suggestions, opinions on why this is happening, and suggestions to how to fix it are hugely appreciated. I am also willing to give any info on my system or screenshot anything if needed.
Thanks,
-Mike
P.S. My hard drives are from about 2-3 years ago (Seagate Barracuda 500GB and 1TB Drives). They seems to be running a bit louder than I expect, but they run at decent speeds if it matters.
