Yesterday, I finished my work and shut down my computer. I forgot to send an email so I turned it back on after 2 minutes. The windows started lagging too much. I couldn't use any app and it took me a lot of time to get it to shut down. My windows is stored on a GPT SSD and other files are on an MBR HDD.
When it restarted, It showed me the blue screen after the motherboard manufacturer's logo. I got frustrated for a moment. It said something like "BCD".
I plugged in my USB bootable USB drive to rebuild the BCD. Guess what, The computer stopped showing signs of life. It didn't turn on when I pressed the power button. I tried to jump it but no luck.
Then out of nowhere, I tried changing the CMOS cell and it started working! But the USB was not working somehow.

I changed the boot to legacy and booted from my other harddrive with windows 10 and the PC worked. I am writing this thread on that PC.

So, how do I get UEFI to work again? I cannot connect my huge size Harddrives because of this.

Please, help.

Motherboard: Zebronics H61
CPU: Core i5 3470
RAM: 12 GB 1600 MHZ Hynix and HyperX Fury
SSD: Adata SU630 240 GB
HDD: WD Blue 7200 RPM 1 TB
Graphics card: GT 1030 Galax EXOC

UEFI boot doesn't work, the UEFI clearly is as its the BIOS. You would just have a box if the UEFI didn't work

So it won't boot off the USB, what is on the USB? the installer? It should work on EUFI & legacy boots.

you can't rebuild bcd while other hdd attached, it will only mess things up more.

tried making another installer on USB and see if it works? On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

is ssd still attached? you might to run chkdsk on it

I Got the setup to run and the SSD shows unallocated space. No partitions, nothing. I tried to make a partition but it showed "We couldn't create a new partition (error: 0x8fddb450).

I Used clean command from cmd and it worked. I tried making a partition from diskpart but it came with this error:
Diskpart has encountered an error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). See the system Event Log for more information.

guess its hard to run chkdsk on s drive if you can't make a partition on it.

Install PartedMagic or Recuva
Users also reported that PartedMagic can fix the Data error (cyclic redundancy check) error code. PartedMagic is a disk partitioning and data recovery tool that supports many drive formats, including FAT16, FAT 32, HFS, etc.

It can format internal and external hard drives, create, move and delete hard drive partitions, clone your drive etc.
You can download PartedMagic from the tool’s official website.

Recuva is a powerful file recovery tool that you can use to recover files from damaged disks. Thanks to its deep scan feature for buried files, Recuva is able to retrieve virtually any lost files. Many Windows users confirmed that Recuva helped them fix the Data error (cyclic redundancy check) error.
You can download Recuva and see if this works for you.

Reseat the sata cable....both ends....test.
Try a different sata port on the mobo...test
