Please help with blue screen stating 0xc0000001 error

My computer keep saying 0xc0000001 error. I have followed the instructions about getting into safe mode, but my system for my laptop is not letting safe mode come up by itself when I press enter to select the safe mode. Safe mode with command prompt is not working either. How can I get to the automatic repair for windows 8? I don't have a cd boot disk, school computer for class. Is there anything I can do manually to fix this error with my computer? Please help.

After 3 failed boot attempts you get to the recovery options, choose the advanced options, there you can choose automatic repair.
Note that you may need to run automatic repair 3 times and it may give the message that it could not repair anything, after 3 attempts try to boot normally.
