Please help with Windows Essentials

Hi, I have Win7-64 bit and I'm trying to add another email account. I understand that I have to go through Win. Essentials in order to add the account.
My problem: I can't find W. E. on my HDD. In the Start Menu is listed " Win. Security Essentials." and it works. In Control Panel, W.E. is listed but only "Photo Gallery / Movie Maker" is listed as components. Have tried "Repair Win. Essentials" . It goes through the motions, tells me that it's fixed but I still can't access it.
Have tried to download it from the MS Site but get the message that it's already installed and I can't proceed from there.
Does anybody have any suggestions????

In control panel/programs and features, you should see windows essentials 2012.
If you do not, download it.
That is the package that includes the email functions called windows live mail.

Thank you for the link (it made all the difference for me) and your quick reply, geofelt. It worked!!!!!! Now I was able to set up the other email account. Thanks!!!!
