OK I've just build my first pc. And on my power supply I have ×2 8 PIN plugs and on my motherboard I have 4 pin and a 8 pin can I use an adaptor to make my 8 pin into a 4 pin thank you for reading this
I was going to tell the same thing, check if the 8-pin connector splits. If it doesn't, you can probably get one of these (or similar) https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812162032
(I still run several old Lenovo ThinkStation S30/D30 boards that all have a 4-pin connector for extra power delivery to PCIe bus)
Check (gently) if the 8-pin splits. Many PSUs will have this as a conjoined connector for the odd mobo that needs higher CPU power, they may pull apart, akin to jammed legos. But... obviously, don't force it.

[strike]There does not seem to be a 4-pin power connector on your board, at least according to pictures on mfg site

Are you sure it's the same board ? Maybe send a photo ? Or check the link I posted above, does the connector look like it would fit ?[/strike]
Sorry, I stand corrected, they are in the top left corner. These do seem to be standard 8-pin CPU and 4-pin, so what canadianvice and I said before still applies. Check if the second 8-pin connector splits in half, and if it doesn't, get the adapter I linked earlier
