Si in my pc now i have a celeron g1610 I also have a 2500K laying around....


My question is can i just swap these processoers out *Take out the g1610 and then insert the 2500k*

and just turn on my pc and use it???

i would suggest either msi afterburner and or hwmonitor

not gonna do this seems like a bad idea to me now...
this is my only pc at the moment and i dont wanna risk breaking a perfectly okay i5 2500k because they are pretty hard to find these days....

It won't get damaged. It'll throttle when it gets hot and shut off if it gets hotter. They're still easy to find these days.
