Please need help on CPU's (Gaming)

So I'm thinking about getting a new CPU for gaming. I've got an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ 2.33GHZ. 8 GB RAM DDR2 & MSI GTX560 Ti.

I play games like Battlefield 3(hardly though) , League of Legends (< *** runs too easy) , Starcraft 2, War Z and a few other single player somewhat graphic intensive games.

I'm thinking about buying an Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan. With a new Mobo / 8GB of 1600mz RAM. So for gaming I was curious if it would be worth upgrading to this CPU for gaming, I plan on using this setup for the next 5 years or so and just upgrading my video card when the next set of Nvidia's come out. I was also wondering if this setup (CPU / Mobo / New memory) will be good for gaming for the next 5 years or so if I overclock the CPU to maybe 4GHz AND lastly is this fan good enough to keep the CPU cool if overclocked to that?

Thanks

Yes

Notes:-
1). Get a Z77 motherboard, the Z68 or P67 will also suffice but the Z77 is best for overclocking, any other won't let you overclock the cpu.
2). A half decent Z77 board will accept and run 2133/2400MHz ram at those speeds, so look to those speeds of ram.
3). The evo 212 will allow you to overclock the cpu to 4.5GHz+.

Like pauls3743 said, yes the i5-3570K will last you. If you plan on overclocking, then it's definitely what you're looking for.

If you're looking for a great cpu cooler, then yes, the hyper evo 212 is one of the best air coolers you can buy at it's price. It's also really affective and will easily overclock the i5-3570K to 4.0, probably even further if you wanted too.

For motherboards, I also recommend the z77. If you want the best bang for your buck, I recommend the ASRock z77 Extreme4. It has plenty of features that many other motherboards at a higher price have and also overclocks really well. It's also the best bang for your buck as far as sub $130 mobos go. I also recommend gigabyte z77 d3h or ud3h, I think right now, the ud3h is the same price and slightly better. Also overclocks well, slightly better than the asrock z77 extreme4.

So in short, I'd go with

CPU: i5-3570K
CPU Cooler: CM Hyper Evo 212
Mobo: ASRock z77 Extreme4 / Gigabyte Z77 UD3H or alternatively Asus Z77 LK , also good
