Hi,

Ok.
What system are You on:
Computer name and model?
Or motherboard name and model?
Graphics name and model?
Operating system and 32 or 64- bit?

It sounds to me that your graphics driver does't work and therefore the native graphics driver from the operating system gets in to handle it.
Try to download the latest graphics driver from the manufacturer?

But I have really no clue.
Best regards from Sweden

My computer is a pre-built acer am3300-e1222, everything is the same from when I bought it and never changed / upgraded anything.

Windows 10, 64 bit.

I don't think my intergraded graphics died, but when I tried to run a game that I normal get over 60 fps on I was only getting 6 - 9 so maybe that's it. If it is I have new new gpu (750 ti) on the way but it will be a while and I don't really think that's what happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I just factory reset my pc and it's still the same, no idea really...

Once I'm home I will try, until then any other suggestions? When I factory reset it went back to 1366 x 768 for like 10 minutes then changed back again... I don't think it has anything to do with my monitor but if what you says fixes it I'll pick it as the solution.

I've fixed my problem, for anyone who needs to know how, it was simple. find "device manager" > display device (something like that it will say your gpu name) > right click it > "Install" > manual > something called see previous installs i think > click the one from 2015 or whatever one fixes your resolution. Worked for me after hours and hours of searching
