Question please power down and connect the pcie power cables. RTX 2080

hi i ordered msi rtx 2080 and i recived it today when i plug it in it says please power down and connect the pcie power cables , i had 1080 before i installed it by myself and it broke i got gtx 1060 and i installed it by myself no problem but when i install rtx 2080 it doesnt work

my psu is evga 600b 600w

do i need to buy a new one?

someone please help i want to play on this beast graphic card ,sorry for my bad english

The 2080 recommended power supply is 650. So a 600 would be on the low side, but should still at least power up the card. I'm guessing the new 2080 has 2 8 pins or 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin? Are both connectors plugged in?

it has 1 6 pin and 1 8 ping and yes they are plugged in did everything but still no luck

Sounds like a power supply or cable issue. Not much you can do aside from making sure you are using the right cables and they are on the correct ports on the power supply if it's modular. Or get a better quality and more powerful PSU.
