Where would you say my biggest bottleneck is?
I'm pretty sure it's my Cpu, but I think the motherboard is also holding me back as well.

Well even if your motherboard wasn't holding your CPU back, your CPU would still hold you back. So you're right when you say your CPU is the biggest bottleneck and would only be worth upgrading if you upgraded your motherboard also to a newer-gen platform.

The Fx-6300 is your biggest problem for modern games but the R9 380 is also showing it's age. Just upgrading your cpu isn't going to miraculously gain you fps unless you also upgrade you gpu I am afraid.

Yes I would agree. Right now your system is fairly balanced. If you want a better GPU you will also need a better/newer CPU.

Thank you guys for your answers, I've been thing about upgrading to the Ryzen 1600X. You've jest given me more motivation to do so.
