Where do you think you need 1200w for?

But in case, look here https://hwbusters.com/best_picks/best-atxv3-pcie5-ready-psus-picks-hardware-busters/5/ and check the availability in your country.
I need that much to handle the power spikes in consumption of the RTX 30 and 40 series graphics cards...
I've experienced myself that my current 850W PSU can crash at any moment when I'm playing PUBG in 4K (I could not find any other scenario that could lead to the same effect).

I have been running 3080Ti with 11700k, similar amount of drives/fans etc, on a Rmx 850w with no issues for little over two years now. Same goes for a friend with similar setup. As said try seperating pcie power cable.

Buying a psu for the future with RTX 5 series in mind is kinda tricky atm. Would you go with an Atx 3.0 psu now or wait for 3.1? 3.1 isn't mainstream yet i don't believe but there are spits and spats about it may be preferred when new generation graphics cards release.
