Question Please recommend a Thunderbolt card

Good Morning, All,

I want to add a Thunderbolt card to an MITX motherboard. I need bi-directional data only. Thunderbolt 3 or higher.

The Thunderbolt port will be used to control a NAS containing 4@4 TB NVMEs.

Operating System: Win11 Pro.
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390I Aorus Pro WiFI

You mean I cannot add a PCIe Card to obtain Thunderbolt?

why do you need thunderbolt? usb4 should work too

This ought to work if you have a free 4x pcie 3.0 or higher slot on your motherboard.

I took them to heart and decided to buy an ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming ITX/ac
and sell my current MB as open box on EBay. The net cost will be less than purchasing a pcie to Thunderbolt card, not to mention avoiding the problems with all the add in cards.
